Eizper Chain, a blockchain multiplayer action role-playing game (ARPG), has secured $2 million in funding through a seed round and private nonfungible token (NFT) sale. Demand for this up-and-coming blockchain project — the first game in the Eizper franchise — is accelerating.
Eizper Chain secured $1.625 million in seed funding from prominent investors and venture capitalists. The investment round was led by Alameda Research and included Huobi Ventures, Crypto.com Capital, Solar Eco Fund, PetRock Capital, Nyan Heroes, Return On Knowledge Capital and multiple angel investors such as Jack Teoh, Ivan lam, Arnold Poernomo and others.
Rudi Harli Setiawan, founder and CEO of Eizper Chain, said, “We’re proud to present Eizper Chain’s seed partners. It is an honor to have their amazing support, as well as that of the community on our journey while we seek to be at the forefront of the next generation of gaming.”
Strong support by such prominent venture capital firms and angel investors confirms the growing interest in the game — the first Indonesian project to combine free-to-play (F2P) and play-to-earn (P2E) mechanics in a Solana-powered blockchain game.
Evans Huangfu, senior investment manager of Huobi Ventures, said, “After investigation, we noticed that Indonesia is a very potential market. We believe that this solid team and high-quality games will bring something new to this inspiring market. We hope to cooperate and provide support as a strategic partner in the future.”
Players can meet various non-playable characters (NPCs) in adventure mode with unique personalities and stories. Talking to these NPCs will create the background setting filled with wild tales, twists, turns, needs, desires, dreams and destinies.
Competitive players can access player-vs-player (PvP) mode by visiting the Warrior’s Den in Windenfel.
The guild mode allows players to embark on missions together, explore dungeons or challenge other guilds in PvP combat. Guild members can experiment with various weapons, armor and skill crystals to enhance their character and gaming experience.
The game rewards players with Eizper Shards: the in-game currency used to mint NFT weapons, armor and other in-game items. Every NFT can be traded through the native marketplace to earn real-world money. Additionally, in-game NFTs have rarity tiers from one to five stars, with rarer items that possess enhanced visuals and statistics.
The private NFT sale has been completed, raising $375,000 with 650 NFT-card packages sold. An additional 1,200 packages were available during the public sale on March 12, 2022, on the Eizper Chain website.
The full release of Eizper Chain is slated for the third quarter of 2022.
